My family joined a free organization called "Freecycle". Freecycle volunteers pick up our donations (mostly household goods) from our front porch when we call. The items are in turn given away to another member who might need them. This keeps the stuff out of landfills - and reduces the clutter at our house! Join at freecycle.org.

Latest News: Another Seven Years for Chipley

VMS is proud to announce the official renewal of the VMS Chipley (Five Counties) project effective July 1, 2008. This renewal is the first of our long-term Florida Department of Transportation projects to renew for a full term.

The seven-year renewal is due to the success of the first program. Many of the team members on this project have worked with VMS since the start of the original contract in July 2000. The hard work, dedication, quality service and work product of our staff are the reasons for this renewal. Countless emails, phone calls, and letters have been received over the last seven years from customers, clients, and contractor partners thanking VMS for this outstanding service.

VMS was founded in 1995 to develop the concept of performance-based contracting for infrastructure in the United States — a business approach to operating and preserving infrastructure as an investment to be managed to meet a predetermined rate of return.
